The flame retardant performance of medical masks is directly related to the safety of medical staff when accidentally exposed to flames. The flame retardancy of masks is one of the important physical indicators for measuring the quality of medical masks. The testing principle of the instrument is to simulate the actual use state of the mask sample and install it on the head mold rack. The mask passes over the igniter with a constant flame height at a certain linear velocity along with the head mold, observes the combustion of the mask, records the duration of continuous combustion and smoldering, and evaluates whether the mask is qualified.
