Electrode humidifier
|
1、 Working principle of electrode humidifier Insert the electrode rod into the water surface of the electrode tank, turn on the power, and use the movement of ions in the water to heat the water to boiling. The amount of water vapor generated (humidification) is determined by the water level in the electrode tank, that is, the depth or area of the electrode rod inserted into the water. The steam spray rod is evenly distributed in the air conditioning box or duct, and is absorbed by the air to achieve humidification. 2、 Structure of electrode humidifier The conductivity of tap water generally ranges from 125 to 1250 μ m; Between s/cm, it contains trace amounts of conductive ions (such as calcium, magnesium ions, etc.), and water is a conductive liquid. When tap water enters the electrode humidification tank, the water level gradually rises until the water level exceeds the electrodes inside the humidification tank. The electrodes will form an electrical circuit through the water and heat the water to boiling, producing clean steam. Electrode humidifier controls the output of steam by adjusting the water level and conductivity in the humidification tank. |

IIIWorking process of electrode humidifier
1. Steam generation
When humidification is required, the main power contactor provides voltage to the electrode rod, and the main control board opens the water inlet solenoid valve. Water enters the electrode tank from the bottom through the water filling cup and water filling hose; When the electrode rod comes into contact with water, an electric current is generated, which eventually heats up the water and converts it into steam The more area the electrode rod comes into contact with water, the greater the current generated and the more heat generated.
When the required amount of steam is reached, the inlet solenoid valve closes Due to evaporation or drainage causing a decrease in water level, if the steam volume is below a certain percentage, the inlet solenoid valve will open to replenish water until the required steam volume is reached.
If the required humidification amount decreases, the inlet solenoid valve will immediately close (even if it is open at the time), and the drain solenoid valve will open until the required amount of steam is reached.
2. Control
The microprocessor on the main control board continuously controls the steam production by detecting the heating current and activating the inlet and outlet solenoid valves.
3. Water level control
When the high water level sensor in the humidification tank detects the water level, the inlet solenoid valve immediately closes.
4. Drainage system
Due to the evaporation process, the minerals in the water will increase, and the conductivity of the water will also increase If the mineral content continues to increase, the heating current will also increase. If the mineral content exceeds a certain level, it will cause abnormal operation of the humidifier, and the water in the humidifier tank needs to be replaced. At this time, the inlet solenoid valve and the outlet solenoid valve are both opened. After the predetermined drainage time, the outlet solenoid valve is closed, and the inlet solenoid valve continues to work until the water in the humidifier tank reaches a high water level.
3、 Characteristics of electrode humidifier

sevenStandard configuration
1. NDJ-Z (whole machine) standard configuration
Humidifier host (box body, humidification tank, inlet and outlet solenoid valves, bottom bracket, control board), steam hose (1 meter), steam distribution pipe, condensate pipe (1 meter).
Optional accessories: humidity controller
2. NDJ-O (OEM) standard configuration
Humidifier tank assembly (humidifier tank, inlet and outlet solenoid valves, bottom bracket), control board, steam hose (1 meter), steam distribution pipe, condensate pipe (1 meter).
3. Length of steam distribution pipe

4. Humidity control system
It is divided into two types: switch type K and proportional type B. And you can choose a type with RS485 communication interface.
5. Connection of spray bar condensate pipe
Use a hose clamp to securely connect one end of a heat-resistant hose with an inner diameter of 10mm to the condensate pipe on the steam spray rod, and naturally guide the other end into the nearest floor drain.
Attention: The hose must not have installation defects such as dead bends, twists, etc. that affect the smooth flow of condensed water.
eightInstallation of Humidifier:
1. Installation of humidifier host
1.1 Determine the installation location of the host, whether to use wall mounted installation or bracket installation
1.2 Wall mounted installation is adopted, and the installation holes on the rear panel of the host are directly fixed in place with bolts, which must be tightened;
1.3 Adopting bracket installation, the user determines the height based on the external dimensions of the ordered host and the specific situation on site, using angle steel (e.g
30 * 30) Make a bracket and place the host on it. The bracket made must be firm, reliable, and not interfere with all pipelines and wires connected to the host.
Regardless of the fixed method used, the host must be horizontally calibrated.
Explanation: When installing a humidifier, it should be installed by professionals who specialize in electrical installation engineering and have experience in HVAC engineering installation.
For the convenience of future humidifier maintenance and repair work, it is recommended to leave sufficient space when installing the humidifier.
2. Installation of inlet and outlet pipes
2.1 Installation of inlet pipe
When installing the water inlet pipe, ensure that the interface between the water inlet hose and the humidifier's water inlet solenoid valve is tightened to prevent water leakage, and that the water inlet hose bends naturally to ensure smooth water inlet;
2.2 Installation of drainage pipes
Due to the lack of pressure in drainage, it is recommended to use a Φ 22 * 1 hose. One end should be reliably connected to the outlet of the humidifier drainage solenoid valve with a hose clamp, and the other end should be led into the nearest drainage floor drain.
3. Installation of steam spray rod
Drill holes according to the actual outer diameter of the spray bar at the determined position, insert the spray bar, and securely fix it with bolts.
Attention: The exhaust port of the spray bar should be facing upwards
4. Installation of steam hoses
Use a hose clamp to connect one end of the steam hose to the steam outlet of the humidifier host and the other end to the steam spray rod, and tighten the hose clamp screw to ensure no steam leakage.
Explanation: When the steam spray rod is 300mm above the top of the humidifier main unit, there should be a 20% upward slope and a 5% downward slope above 300mm;
When the steam spray rod is 300mm below the top of the humidifier host, maintain a 20% upward slope and a 5% downward slope within this 300mm distance;
The shorter the steam hose, the better (2 meters long), with a small bending radius of 300mm;
To avoid the formation of condensation areas due to the sagging of steam hoses, use pipe clamps and brackets for support if necessary;
9、 Precautions for Installation and Debugging of Electrode Humidifiers
The power connection is reliable and the host is grounded.
The inlet and outlet pipes are connected properly and there is no leakage.
Environmental humidity<80% RH, temperature 3-40 ℃.
The host cannot be installed at an angle and must be perpendicular to the ground.
The steam hose should be connected to the nearest line, not exceeding 3 meters, and there should be no sagging in the middle
Separate to prevent water accumulation, otherwise a tee should be installed at the low point of the sagging part to drain condensed water.
A filter should be installed in the inlet pipeline to prevent impurities from jamming the solenoid valve.
Do not use softened water. If the conductivity of the local water is insufficient, a small amount of water can be added to the humidification tank
Salt.
After a certain period of use, if a decrease in humidification is found, check that other components are working properly, indicating
The humidification tank is severely alkaline and should be cleaned or replaced immediately.
