Efficient concentrator is suitable for dewatering concentrate and tailings in mineral processing plants, and is widely used in industries such as metallurgy, chemical industry, coal, non-metallic mineral processing, and environmental protection. The high-efficiency concentrator is not simply a settling device, but a new type of dewatering equipment that combines the filtration characteristics of the mud layer.

Structure of high-efficiency concentrator

A concentrator (high-efficiency concentrator) generally consists of a concentration tank, a cake rack, a transmission device, a cake rack lifting device, a feeding device, a discharging device, and a signal safety device.

Working principle of high-efficiency concentrator

The high-efficiency concentrator mainly consists of two parts: a circular concentrator and a rake scraper. The solid particles suspended in the slurry in the concentration tank settle under the action of gravity, and the upper part becomes clarified water, allowing solid-liquid separation. The sediment deposited at the bottom of the concentration tank is continuously scraped by a rake scraper to the central discharge outlet at the bottom of the tank, while the clarified water overflows from the upper edge of the concentration tank.

1. Adding coagulants increases the particle size of settled solid particles, thereby accelerating the settling speed.
2. Install inclined plates to shorten the settling distance of mineral particles and increase the settling area.
