Product Introduction:

Stainless steel soil scraper is suitable for roads, water conservancy, and other civil engineering constructions. Used for determining the moisture content of soil materials, stainless steel soil sampling ring knife is generally used in conjunction with soil sampling aluminum box in the laboratory. The ring knife is a commonly used instrument for taking undisturbed soil and conducting tests such as capacity (soil density), compression, shear, and permeability. It is mainly used to determine the compaction degree of soil.

usage method:

(1) The use and precautions of the ring knife should be downward. When cutting soil samples, avoid tilting them and make them cut vertically and evenly under force. Before use, apply a small amount of Vaseline to the ring knife. After use, the ring knife should be cleaned and coated with some protective oil to prevent rusting.

(2) The calibration of the ring knife should be carried out at least once a year, and its volume and mass should be calculated. The inner diameter of the ring knife needs to be measured with a caliper and rotated at least three diameters at different angles, accurate to 0.1mm. The maximum difference should not exceed 1% of the standard value, and the average value should be taken. The mass of the ring knife needs to be weighed using a balance with a sensitivity of 0.01g, accurate to 0.01g
