The EPOCH LTC digital ultrasonic flaw detector embodies the most advanced technology today. The instrument is small in size and lightweight, weighing only 0.96 kilograms (2.12 pounds). The design of EPOCH LTC is based on the technologically advanced EPOCH XT, which is fully functional and complies with the EN12668-1 standard. It not only has a large number of standard performance, but also comes with multiple specialized options to meet the detection needs of users.
The instrument is equipped with a bright color through reflection display screen with full VGA resolution (640 x 480), capable of displaying A-scans at high resolution and displaying images clearly under any lighting conditions, including direct sunlight. The design of EPOCH LTC meets the requirements of IP67, ensuring that the instrument operates normally in the harsh environments commonly found in non-destructive testing sites.

To meet user detection needs, EPOCH LTC contains many standard features. This includes a square wave pulse generator, dynamic DAC/TVG curve, optional digital filter, gain range from 0 dB to 110 dB, peak memory, 0.025 millimeters (0.001 inches) measurement resolution, and a gate with programmable alarm. In addition, the instrument also offers many optional software features for specific applications: onboard DGS/AVG, manual pulse repetition frequency (PRF) control, pulse width adjustment, gate 2, surface correction, and GageView Pro software interface program equipped to enhance control and improve efficiency.

Advanced software features and data management capabilities
Dynamic DAC/TVG: Compare the DAC curve or the reference echo amplitude repaired by time-varying gain method, and calculate the signal amplitude in percentage or dB value. The DAC versions include ASME, ASME 3, JIS, and custom. Covering the following main functions: dynamically adjustable DAC curve, DAC and TVG view switching, custom DAC alarm curve.
