EDA9150A is a cost-effective switch input module,Its main functions include: 16 channel isolation switch input

● Counting function:All 16 inputs come with counting function and can be used as 16 pulse counting inputs;

● Communication interface: 1 channel, isolated standard RS-485 communication interface (optional RS-232 interface, CAN interface), MODBUS-RTU communication protocol; Capable of network communication with various brands of PLCs, RTUs, and industrial control configuration software;

● Power supply:+ 10-30V, wide power input;

●Counting function: All 16 inputs have counting function, which can be used as 16 pulse counting inputs; Its pulse count value is stored in case of power failure; When applied to counting: it is required that the width of both high and low pulse levels be greater than 500 uS; When the module detects a transition from 1 to 0 in each channel, its count value is incremented by 1; The maximum count value for each channel is 4 bytes: FFFFFFFFH。

●Communication: Standard isolated RS-485 communication interface (optional RS-232 interface, CAN interface);

●Communication protocol: Standard MODBUS-RTU communication protocol; Can achieve network communication with various brands of PLC, RTU or computer monitoring software;

●Data format: customizable; 10 bits, 1 start bit 0, 8 data bits, 1 stop bit 1; Or 11 bits, which can be set by software for odd, even, or no verification;

●The communication address (1-247) and baud rate (1200, 2400, 4800, 9600, 19200bps) can be set; The communication network can reach a maximum distance of 1200 meters and is connected through twisted pair shielded cables. Each communication line can connect up to 64 modules of this series.

●The communication interface is isolated by high-speed optocouplers and designed with high anti-interference capability; Communication response time:< 0.1S (typical).
