This instrument is used to measure the capacitance current of the distribution network to determine the installation of arc suppression coils to compensate for the capacitance. In addition, the coordination between the ground capacitance of the distribution network and the parameters of PT can generate PT ferromagnetic resonance overvoltage. In order to verify whether PT resonance will occur in the distribution system and what kind of resonance will occur, it is also necessary to accurately measure the ground capacitance value of the distribution network.
Functional Features
This instrument adopts a large screen LCD display, Chinese menu, and is very easy to operate. It is also small in size and light in weight, making it easy to carry for outdoor operations. During testing, the capacitance current of the distribution network is directly measured from the secondary side of the PT. Compared with traditional testing methods, there is no need to deal with the primary side, and there is no risk of testing. There is no need to take complicated safety measures or wait for lengthy scheduling commands. Simply connect the measurement line to the open triangular end of the PT to measure the capacitance current data. The wiring is simple, the testing speed is fast, and the data accuracy is high, greatly reducing the labor intensity of the testing personnel and improving work efficiency.
