DV2T touch screen viscometer
The all-new DV2T viscometer is equipped with a 5-inch color display screen, guiding users through the entire process of creating tests and collecting data for quick and convenient viscosity measurement. DV2T also provides powerful new programming capabilities and result analysis, including data averaging and QC upper and lower limit alarms. New program generator software can be used to create user instructions for multi-step testing protocols and upload them to DV2T via USB flash drive (all instruments come with them). The test data can be directly recorded to a local printer or sent to a computer. Additional automatic control and data acquisition can be achieved through the optional RheocalcT software.
Features and advantages
5-inch full-color touchscreen display (supports multiple languages)
The displayed information includes: viscosity (cP/mP · s), temperature (° C/° F), shear rate/shear stress,% torque, rotor/speed, program status stage
Enhanced security controls can provide advanced protection features, with custom user permissions and password access, in compliance with regulations such as 21 CFR Part 11.
Built in options include timed measurement, data averaging, programmable QC upper and lower limits/alarms, user-defined speed/rotor list, and data comparison screen display
Automatic range display shows the maximum measured viscosity under the current rotor/speed combination
The USB PC interface provides optional automatic data acquisition function for the computer control box. Download user-defined testing programs using the included PG Flash software
Convenient front bubble level for browsing
Built in temperature probe
Accuracy: ± 1.0% of the measurement range, displayed together with the test data
Reproducibility: ± 0.2%
Strict identification of benchmark standard fluids with traceability to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) standards in the United States
Optional attachments: The DV2T "EXTRA" version viscometer integrates a rotor quick connect system, a durable ball bearing suspension system, a quick positioning bracket, and free RheocalcT software.
Each of our standard laboratory viscometers/rheometers is randomly equipped with a built-in spring for calculating the viscosity of the material. These springs have different measurement capabilities:
LV series, suitable for low viscosity materials, can measure the thinnest materials. Typical examples include ink, oil, and solvents.
RV series: suitable for medium viscosity materials with viscosity higher than those measured by LV torque. Typical examples include frost, food, and paint
HA series: Suitable for materials with higher viscosity than those measured by RV torque. Typical examples include: gel, chocolate, and epoxy.
HB series: Suitable for materials with higher viscosity than those measured with HA torque. Typical examples include asphalt, joint filling compounds, and molasses.
