The DLI-400 light integrator/photoperiod meter is used to measure the photosynthetically active radiation (PAR) of sunlight at 370-650nm, and can also calculate the daylight integral (DLI) and photoperiod.
PAR, DLI, and photoperiod affect plant growth and development, and are typically measured in greenhouses and growth chambers to aid in light management and decision-making. DLI refers to the total amount of PAR or Extended PAR (ePAR) incident on a plane within 24 hours, measured in µ mol/m ² s. The photoperiod is the total time of PAR or ePAR incidence within 24 hours, expressed in hours (h).
The DLI-400 measuring instrument has two different screen modes: storing data and real-time viewing data. In the data storage screen, it displays DLI measurement values, lighting time, and data collected on which day (up to 99 days ago). Real time viewing of data screen displaying the average running value of PPFD over the past 2.5 seconds.
