Centrifugal beneficiation machine, abbreviated as centrifuge or centrifugal chute. At present, there are many types of centrifuges, but their structures are basically the same. When the centrifuge rotates at high speed, it generates a large centrifugal force, which strengthens the reselection process and enables more effective recovery of fine particles. Its appearance successfully solves the problem of full recovery of fine particles. Therefore, it is widely used for the recovery of tungsten, tin, iron and other mineral slurries.
Structure of centrifugal beneficiation machine
A centrifuge consists of two main parts: a sorting mechanism and an auxiliary mechanism.
1. Sorting organization. The drum of the centrifuge is its sorting structure. The drum is in the shape of a hollow cone, with an inner surface slope of 3 to 5 degrees. It can be made of steel plate welding, cast aluminum or fiberglass. The drum is fixed to the shaft through the chassis and rotates together with the shaft.
2. The auxiliary mechanisms of centrifuges are mainly composed of several main parts, such as feeding devices, discharging devices, flushing devices, and their action program control devices.
Working principle of centrifugal beneficiation machine
The slurry rotates at high speed with the drum, and under the action of centrifugal force, heavy minerals deposit on the inner wall of the drum and rotate together with the drum. The light mineral particles in the slurry rotate with the drum at a certain differential speed. During the rotation process, they flow from the feeding end along the slope direction of the drum to the discharging end at a certain spiral angle, and are discharged through the discharging and separating device at the end, which is the tailings. After 3 minutes of sorting, the ore feeder automatically rotates away from its original normal position and stops feeding ore into the drum. After the tailings are discharged, the ore feeder automatically rotates away from its original normal position to prepare for cutting the concentrate. Then, the high-pressure flushing water valve automatically opens, and the high-pressure flushing water flushes the concentrate deposited on the inner wall of the drum. After the concentrate is washed away, the high-pressure water valve automatically closes. After the concentrate is discharged, the ore feeder and the ore feeder automatically reset and start the next sorting cycle.
