Carrier concentrator is a key equipment in the low-voltage power line carrier centralized meter reading system. It can automatically copy and store power data of various intelligent instruments, acquisition terminals or modules with carrier communication functions, as well as various carrier communication terminals through the downlink channel. The downlink channel can be low-voltage power line carrier and RS-485 serial communication channel; At the same time, it can exchange data with the main station or handheld devices through the uplink channel, which can be GPRS, CDMA, PSTN, network and other communication methods. It adopts a modular design and can directly change the communication method by replacing the communication module.
Adopting Dingxin RS-485 to power carrier module, it is suitable for data acquisition of meters with RS485 interface.
Each meter collector can finally connect 32 RS485 meters.
The maximum length limit for the RS485 line between the electricity meter collector and the energy meter is 1000 meters.
