Brief introduction

The WS3051-GP capacitive pressure transmitter (hereinafter referred to as the intelligent transmitter) adopts advanced integrated circuits and surface mounting technology, and adds communication, query, testing, configuration and other functions on the basis of the analog transmitter. It can improve calibration accuracy, enhance environmental temperature compensation effect, and greatly improve the quality of the transmitter.

1. The intelligent transmitter applies advanced digital technology and frequency phase shift keying (FSK) technology, which improves the overall performance and reliability of the machine, and facilitates the connection between the site and the control room.

2. In addition to remote communication capabilities, smart transmitters also have local range and zero adjustment buttons for easy on-site adjustment after installation.

3. The electronic components of the intelligent transmitter adopt advanced integrated circuits and surface mounting processes, and have functions such as communication, inquiry, testing, and configuration.


2、 Working principle

Figure 1-1 shows the basic working principle of the WS3051-GP capacitive pressure transmitter, which is an intelligent transmitter. The working principle and functions of each component will be described below.

1.1 "δ" chamber sensor (sensitive element)

The core of an intelligent transmitter is a capacitive pressure sensor called the "delta" chamber (see Figure 1-2).

1.2.0 Circuit board module

The circuit board module of the smart transmitter is a circuit board that uses application specific integrated circuits (ASICS) and surface packaging technology. The circuit board receives signals from sensors and performs correction and linearization. 1.2.1 A/D Conversion

The A/D conversion circuit uses a 16 bit low-power integrated circuit to convert the analog current output by the demodulator into a digital signal, which is provided to the microprocessor as an input signal.

1.2.2 Microprocessors

The microprocessor of the intelligent transmitter controls the A/D and D/A conversion work, and can also complete self diagnosis and achieve digital communication. During work, a numerical pressure value is processed by the microprocessor and stored as a number to ensure accuracyEnsuring precisionCorrection and conversion of engineering units. In addition, microprocessors can also perform sensor linearization, range ratio, damping time, and other functional settings.

1.2.3 EEPROM Memory

EEPROM stores all configuration, characterization, and digital fine-tuning parameters. The memory is non-volatile, so even if the power is turned off, the stored data can still be preserved intact, enabling intelligent communication at any time.

1.2.4 D/A Conversion

The D/A conversion converts the calibrated digital signal sent by the microprocessor into a 4-20mA analog signal and outputs it to the circuit.

1.2.5 Digital Communication

Test and configure the smart transmitter through a communicator. Alternatively, communication can be achieved by superimposing a 02200Hz digital signal from any upper system that supports the HART communication protocol onto a 4-20mA signal,communicationAt this time, the frequency signal does not cause any interference to the process of 4-20mA.
