M57 Profile is a manual or automatic loading measurement station that can be used for dimensional and geometric measurements, as well as reproducing all cam profiles presented on a single axis.
In this system, inspections can be conducted during the final or intermediate operational stages.
Compared to measurement laboratories, repeatability and accuracy can be guaranteed because electronic measuring instruments are combined with special algorithms.
Fully inspect and certify the production of camshafts directly in the factory environment.
The module structure of M57 Profile (using advanced mechanics technology) ensures an extremely universal system that enables the measuring device to load, measure, and classify camshafts.
We have equipped the M57 Profile measurement station with a sufficient structure for positioning on automatic transmission lines.
- Automatic loading system
Marposs or customers can provide a system for directly unloading camshafts from the transmission line. Raise the camshaft to the height of the fixed system of the parts, which will use a center or spindle depending on the manufacturing process
- The measurement system combines Marposs measurement units with linear and axial encoders to obtain dimensions and geometric parameters with very high resolution.
Typical measurements taken on the camshaft:
- The radius, TIR, and concentricity of the reference circle
- Gradient and peak values of contour, velocity, and acceleration
- Angular phase and taper
- planar
In addition, there are main bearings that can measure diameter, roundness, taper, flatness, concentricity, TIR, and surface shape.
The workbench can be connected to the Marposs E9066n industrial PC.
advantage- Highly industrialized can ensure a high quality/price ratio
- Extremely fast cycle time
- Reasonable for inspection of a series of camshafts
- High measurement accuracy enables classification of camshafts and adjustment of machine tools
- Its design can measure in any factory environment
- Long term reliability
