1、 Purpose:

The CYT-400 series products use the main air source as the signal pressure. When the signal pressure is lower than the set pressure of the air lock valve

Cut off the internal air path of CYT-400 to prevent air flow. The main purpose is to be installed on the control valve. When the pressure of the main gas source in the factory drops below the set pressure due to power outage, leakage, or other reasons, the gas path from the locator to the actuator will be automatically closed to maintain the current valve position opening.

The air lock valve is an auxiliary device of the instrument. When the compressed air source fails and stops supplying gas, it uses a holding valve to cut off the valve control channel, keeping the valve position at the position before the gas cut off. To ensure the normal operation of the process, the gas lock valve will not open the channel until the accident in the system is eliminated and gas supply is resumed, and control will resume when normal operation is restored.

2、 Technical parameters:

② During the switching process, the impact of the gas source signal on the channel output pressure is less than 10Kpa

③ When the channel is fully closed, the output pressure of the channel should not decrease by more than 0.8Kpa every 4 minutes

3、 Principle of Action

If the signal pressure is greater than the set pressure, the signal pressure will push the lower part of the upper diaphragm ⑧ upwards. At this time, the upper diaphragm ⑧ will move upwards and open to the lower diaphragm ⑩, and the signal pressure will be input to the upper chamber of the lower diaphragm ⑩. The lower diaphragm ⑩ moves downwards under pressure, pushing the push shaft 11. The push shaft 11 pushes the chassis 11, and finally the inlet pressure is discharged from the outlet through the air lock valve, that is, the inlet and outlet are connected. On the contrary, if the signal pressure is lower than the set pressure, the upper diaphragm ⑧ moves downward, cutting off the passage to the lower diaphragm ⑩. A gap is created between the steel ball ⑦ and the upper diaphragm ⑧, and the air pressure in the upper chamber pressing the lower diaphragm ⑩ is discharged through the gap. As the pressure in the upper chamber of the lower diaphragm 10 decreases, the push shaft 11 connected to the lower diaphragm 10 will also rise together, cutting off the passage between the inlet and outlet of the chassis 11.

4、 Installation

☞ Attention

Please follow the following instructions when installing and using the product.

① Protective equipment must be worn and safety precautions must be followed.

② To avoid damage to components or personal injury caused by high-pressure gas leakage and explosion, please confirm the product parameters before installation and do not use it beyond the specified parameter range.

③ The gas source needs to be purified and dried as a non corrosive gas.

④ Prevent foreign objects from entering the airlock valve, especially from entering the signal interface. Metal or sharp foreign objects can damage the membrane.

⑤ After the catheter is connected, the signal pressure cannot exceed the specified parameter range. If used beyond the specified signal pressure range, the diaphragm may be damaged, affecting the normal operation of the product.

⑥ After the product is installed, the set pressure should be adjusted through the pressure gauge or other equipment while confirming the signal pressure. If the set pressure is not confirmed through equipment such as pressure gauges, it may exceed the specified parameter range, and adjusting the transition may damage the diaphragm.

⑦ When used in conjunction with other control valve accessory products (such as pneumatic amplifiers, solenoid valves, etc.), attention should be paid to the installation position of the product. The air lock valve should be directly connected to the actuator.

⑧ The air lock valve should be installed before the controlled valve, and the control signal of the holding valve should be connected in parallel with the valve's instrument (such as regulator) air supply pipe

⑨ All pipelines at the output end of the air lock valve must be strictly sealed, otherwise it cannot function as a "protective position".

⑩ Takeover identification: "IN" represents "channel input", "OUT" represents "channel output", and "SIG" represents "control signal".

5、 Piping

CYT-400 is installed between the locator and the actuator, as shown in the left figure, without the need for a bracket to fix it, and is directly connected through a conduit. When connecting the conduit, dry the inside of the conduit to prevent foreign objects from entering.

According to the on-site situation, brackets can also be made based on the corresponding dimensions of the product (refer to page 2). There are many methods for installing brackets, and the image on the right below is an example of installing them on the actuator for reference only.

7、 Troubleshooting

▶ When the signal pressure is lower than the set pressure, but the gas lock valve does not cut off the gas path
Confirm if the set pressure is correct. If the set pressure is too high, please reduce the set pressure.
The signal pressure set at the factory is 2.5 kgf/㎠.
▶ When the signal pressure is greater than the set pressure, but the air lock valve still cuts off the air path
Confirm if the set pressure is correct. If it is too small, please increase the set pressure.
The signal pressure set at the factory is 2.5 kgf/㎠.
▶ When the exhaust hole on the spring box continuously exhausts
The upper membrane is damaged or foreign objects are stuck on the steel ball blocking the upper membrane. If the upper membrane is damaged, please disassemble the product and replace the upper membrane. If there are foreign objects sticking to the steel ball, disassemble the spring housing, wipe the steel ball clean, and reassemble it.
▶ When the exhaust hole on the airlock valve body continuously exhausts
The lower membrane is damaged or the O-ring between the bottom shaft and the body is damaged. When the membrane below is damaged, please disassemble the product and replace the membrane. If the O-ring is damaged, please contact our company.


8、 Product Guarantee

3. The warranty period shall be based on the warranty period specified in the contract signed with the customer, and in principle, free maintenance shall be provided during the warranty period.
If the warranty period is not specified in the contract, our company will provide free maintenance within one year of leaving the factory.
During the warranty period, if any problems occur due to the following reasons, our company will charge for repairs.
-Problems arising from users arbitrarily disassembling products or not maintaining them correctly
-Problems arising from improper transportation and storage.
-Problems arising from using beyond the rated parameter range of the product.
-Problems caused by incorrect installation.
-Problems caused by natural disasters such as fires, earthquakes, storms, floods, lightning, and other natural disasters or riots, wars, radiation, etc.
