Product Overview:

Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) is a chemical method used to measure the amount of reducible substances that need to be oxidized in water samples. The oxygen equivalent of substances that can be oxidized by strong oxidants in wastewater, wastewater treatment plant effluent, and polluted water.

The WTF2000 CODCr COD online water quality analyzer adopts the national standard rapid digestion spectrophotometric method for analysis, with a detection range standard of 0-1000mg/L. The range can be expanded according to the actual water sample on site (the chloride ion concentration shall not exceed 1000mg/L). In a strong acid medium, silver sulfate is used as a catalyst, and after rapid digestion under high temperature and high pressure, reagents are added for spectrophotometric measurement.
