The thickness of cast-in-place floor slabs and walls is one of the important indicators for evaluating the quality and safety performance of buildings. This indicator is highly valued by the national and various quality inspection departments. The traditional detection method is drilling measurement, which belongs to destructive detection. Later, ultrasonic thickness measurement appeared, but the sound velocity needs to be input before measurement. Due to the different sound velocities of concrete, the detection accuracy is also not high. The CH1000-B non-metallic thickness tester is a non-destructive testing method based on electromagnetic theory and is independent of the sound velocity of concrete. After long-term on-site verification, the accuracy can reach ≤ 2mm. This instrument is not only capable of measuring the thickness of concrete, but also suitable for measuring the thickness of other non-metallic plates.
