BT-150D is a four axis (three-axis optional) CNC diamond tool grinder equipped with online grinding wheel dressing and online probe measurement assembly. It can store various types of grinding programs and implement envelope grinding methods, suitable for the manufacturing of cutting tools such as wheel hub cutters and groove cutters.

1、 Machine tool features:

1. Machine tool mechanical structure: The machine tool bed (base) is made of integral castings weighing 1.5 tons, which can meet the requirements of grinding any superhard material. The machine tool is equipped with a grinding fluid protective cover to ensure that the grinding fluid does not splash everywhere. The optical tube and CCD camera are equipped with protective covers to ensure that the lens does not enter water during operation and that its optical adjustment is not inadvertently altered. The machine tool is equipped with lighting fixtures and bedside lamps inside. The cross workbench adopts precision guide rails and two screw tightening devices. This completely eliminates the gap and can withstand greater grinding resistance without letting the knife go.

2. Machine tool electric spindle: The grinding head adopts a high-precision variable frequency speed control electric spindle with a power of 3.0 kilowatts and a maximum speed of 4000 revolutions per minute. It is cooled by circulating water and has a spindle rotation accuracy of 0.002 millimeters for end jump and 0.003 millimeters for radial jump.

3. Machine tool guide rail: High precision needle roller guide rail is used, which significantly improves the rigidity, accuracy, and durability of the machine tool.

Servo mechanism: It adopts a control servo structure, with two linear feed axes (X and Y axes) and two rotating axes (C and B axes) controlled by servo motors, and can perform four axis linkage under the drive of application programs. Improved grinding efficiency and improved blade grinding quality.

6. Grinding head reciprocating swing mechanism: The grinding head swings under the drive of a servo motor, with a swing frequency of 0-60 times/minute and a swing amplitude adjustable between 0 and 120 millimeters, ensuring uniform consumption of the grinding wheel, timely self sharpening, and guaranteeing grinding accuracy and roughness. The mechanical swing, swing amplitude, swing frequency, and swing position controlled by the numerical control program can be set in the program.

7. Angle encoder: After detecting the tool, it can accurately restore the grinding position of the tool, avoiding the problem of the tool not resetting after multiple grinding. The digital encoder has an angle resolution of 1 '.

8. Radial locking of grinding wheel shaft: The radial locking technology of the grinding wheel spindle enables the two circular arc guide rails to interlock and brake, achieving seamless and smooth contact, greatly enhancing the rigidity of the equipment and improving the grinding quality of the tool edge by one level.

9. Fixture: The machine tool is equipped with a positioning fixture, which eliminates the need to adjust the position of the CCD camera when grinding tools of different thicknesses, thereby improving work efficiency.

10. Lubrication system: The lubrication system adopts an intermittent automatic lubrication system, and users can set the refueling time and refueling interval to ensure the service life of the screw.

2、 Technological breakthrough point

  1. Grinding application software: Our company's self-developed grinding software is used to set grinding parameters such as tool angle, arc size, and feed speed. After aligning the tool center, the machine tool can automatically grind high-precision tools by setting basic parameters through grinding software. All parameters of the machine tool are managed by a database system, which is called by the processing program name for easy storage and retrieval of the program. This software can display tool images and the coordinates of CNC axes, and can generate calibration lines to display the center position of the rotating axis. At the same time, the software is responsible for communication between the interface and the CNC system. It can comprehensively generate CNC codes (G codes) from the grinding wheel parameters, tool parameters, and machining parameters (such as feed rate, feed speed, and dwell time) on the software interface, and transmit them to the CNC system to enable the machine tool to automatically complete grinding. This software has four types of loops that can be combined arbitrarily: (1) medium edge grinding, (2) right edge grinding, (3) left edge grinding, and (4) all edge grinding. Can meet all customer requirements and minimize the time spent grinding air.

2. Automatic grinding wheel dressing: The automatic grinding wheel dressing device is installed on the working feed axis (Y-axis), driven by a servo motor, to automatically dress and clean the diamond grinding wheel.

3. Online measuring device: This contact measuring device is installed on a pneumatic folding bracket to avoid interference with the grinding wheel during operation. When measurement is required, the tool after grinding is measured under the drive of a CNC program. The difference between the actual measurement value and the set value is the wear amount of the grinding wheel, which can be automatically compensated to the thickness value of the grinding wheel.

1. Software Package 1: Single Blade Tool Software Package, which is used for grinding typical diamond cutting tools. It can grind a tool tip composed of two straight edges and a transition arc. When grinding various straight edges, the swing position, swing frequency, and swing amplitude of the grinding wheel can be set arbitrarily in the program; The feed rate, feed rate, and dwell time can be selected based on the durability and condition of the grinding wheel. Safe distances can be set for each edge to reduce idle grinding time. These parameters can be continuously optimized and stored in the database for future use.

2. Software package 2: Single arc cutting tool software package, which is used for cutting tools composed of a single convex arc cutting edge and multiple straight cutting edges, including wheel hub cutting tools, forming turning tools, etc. The number of cutting edges can be freely added without any restrictions. The grinding sequence can be arranged arbitrarily, and the process data can be edited. These parameters can be continuously optimized and stored in the database for future use.
