Detection Principle
BOD Biochemical Oxygen Demand Water Quality Analysis and Measurement InstrumentBiochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD) refers to the amount of free oxygen consumed by aerobic bacteria to oxidize and decompose organic matter per unit volume of water under aerobic conditions, commonly measured in mg/L. Biochemical oxygen demand is usually measured for 5 days as the standard time. Currently, many countries, including China, commonly use the method of 20 ℃, five-day biochemical cultivation, and dilution of water samples - the five-day cultivation method - as the standard method for determining BOD in wastewater. The result of this method is called 5-day biochemical oxygen demand, expressed as BOD5.

Technical Characteristics

Concentration direct reading: It can measure 1-6 samples without conversion and display BOD concentration values directly.

Independent and flexible: Test individuals independently and can decide the start time of individual samples at any time.
