3、 Measurement principle
BACTcontrol is used to monitor fecal coliforms and total coliforms in water. Online monitoring is based on specific enzymatic reactions, which cause the bacteria to emit visible fluorescence. The number of bacteria is detected by measuring the fluorescence intensity.
β - glucosidase indicates fecal coliforms
β - galactosidase indicates total coliform microbiota
