For thin plates, profiles, and pipes, a Vickers hardness tester can be used. Aluminum ingots or larger aluminum blocks can be measured using a Leeb hardness tester or an ultrasonic hardness tester.

During the product processing or completion of quality inspection, Brinell hardness tester is generally used (in most cases, Brinell hardness is used, and the measurement results are relatively accurate), and Rockwell HRB or Vickers hardness tester is also used.

If it is a laboratory research project, a Vickers hardness tester is generally used, which can be used in conjunction with other testing methods to comprehensively test its performance.
