Aerosol probe:
Mainly used to detect the number concentration of 20 types of aerosol particles within the range of 0.3-100 μ m diameter (10 types within the range of 0.3-5 μ m diameter) (unit: particles/cm)3).
This device can be used for long-term monitoring of aerosol particle number concentration in polluted areas, sandstorm areas, and volcanic ash areas in the middle and lower atmosphere, and to elucidate the physical properties of particles.
By applying new optical designs, LOAC can evaluate the main physical properties of particles within five diameter ranges (<1 μ m, 1-5 μ m, 5-10 μ m, 10-20 μ m,>20 μ m). These particles are mainly liquid aerosol particles, carbon particles (such as coal smoke particles), and non carbon aerosol particles (mainly mineral particles).
