1、 Characteristics and scope of use
The 9R and 9ZR series straw kneading machines produced by the company are a multi-purpose new type of kneading machine that integrates grass cutting, kneading, ensiling, and crushing. The machine has a reasonable structural design, beautiful appearance, stable performance, low unit energy consumption, easy operation, and safe use. This machine adopts a fully steel structure, which will not cause the casing to explode due to iron, stone, or debris entering the casing. It is integrated with the power assembly and suitable for a wide range of urban and rural feed and grain processing points, individual households, and professional breeders. It is used to process feed such as straw, green grass and wheat straw, peanut skin, sweet potato seedlings, etc. It is an ideal equipment for processing coarse and fine feed.

3、 Safety usage requirements
1. During work, the operator should stand on the side to prevent hard objects from popping out of the feeding port and injuring people.
2. It is strictly prohibited to reach into the feeding port and use force to feed, and it is strictly prohibited to use wooden sticks or other tools to assist in feeding, in order to prevent injury and damage to machinery.
3. If abnormal operation or abnormal noise is found during work, the machine should be stopped immediately and the power should be cut off. After the machine is completely stopped, the machine cover should be opened for inspection. It is strictly prohibited to check when the machine is rotating. After identifying the cause and troubleshooting, the machine can be restarted for work.
4. During the work process, the operator must not leave the work post, and must shut down the machine and cut off power in case of urgent need to leave.
5. Individuals under the age of 18, the elderly, and those with unclear minds are not allowed to operate the device. Female comrades with long hair must wear a work cap when operating. Operators are not allowed to work under the influence of alcohol.
6. The machine is equipped with fixed blades, and the bolts that lock the fixed blades must be tightened and not loose.
7. Check if the clearance of the fixed blade bite is appropriate, and it must achieve parallel bite (clearance of 2-4mm).
8. The tightness of the belt must be appropriate, as being too loose or too tight can cause the motor and machine to heat up, reducing the lifespan of the belt.

　　4、 Installation requirements
Each model has a motor frame. Install the motor onto a random pulley and place it on the motor frame. Hang the belt and adjust the tightness. Install the motor protective cover and secure the motor blind spot bolts. Turn on the motor and test its rotation direction. It can only work when it matches the direction indicated on the casing.
Attention: Before starting up, it is necessary to check the tightening of bolts in all parts before starting up. After idling for 2-3 minutes, it can start working.
　　5、 Operation and Adjustment
1. Ensure that when the new straw kneading machine is delivered, you receive both this user manual and the product certificate, and follow the company's guidance to operate the straw kneading machine correctly.
2. Install the straw kneading machine using longitudinal and transverse long holes to adjust until the motor pulley is parallel. It is recommended that the tension of the triangular belt can be pressed down by 20 millimeters. The power transmission system must be equipped with a protective cover. For straw kneading machines powered by motors, our company comes with a protective cover when they leave the factory.
3. Before starting up, it is necessary to check that there are no debris inside the machine, whether the screws are loose, and the gap between the moving and fixed knives should be controlled at 2-4mm. Rotate the pulley by hand to check whether the rotating parts are stuck, collided, rubbed, etc.
4. Connect the power supply to make the motor idle, check if the spindle rotation direction is consistent with the direction marked on the casing, then add the corner strap, adjust the tightness, and idle for 1-2 minutes before proceeding with the machining operation. After starting, if there is any abnormal noise, immediately stop the machine for inspection. The feeding can only be carried out after the machine is running normally. The feeding should not be excessive to prevent damage to the supporting power equipment and components caused by overload operation.
5. The materials processed during work must be carefully selected, and it is strictly prohibited to mix hard objects such as stones and metals. The materials should not be too damp, as excessive moisture can greatly affect the efficiency of kneading. Please open the circular air vent under the main wheel when discharging from the fan. When opening the upper gate for feeding, it is necessary to control the feeding to avoid overloading operation.
6. When using a guillotine to cut and knead forage, open the entrance gate of the forage, close the gate of the feed entrance, fix it, remove the bag tied to the discharge port of the machine, and feed the straw and other forage evenly. Do not feed too much to cause overload operation.
7. After the work is completed, idle for 3 minutes, and stop the machine after all the materials in the standby mode have been discharged.

6、 General faults and troubleshooting methods

7、 Maintenance and upkeep
1. After blunting the working angle of the hammer blade, the upper cover can be lifted, the locking nail on one end of the pin shaft can be removed, the working angle can be exchanged, and the installation can be carried out according to the installation diagram of the hammer blade (four groups should be exchanged together and installed in situ).
2. Hammer blades, pin shafts, and fan blades cannot be self-made to prevent weight loss from damaging the entire machine.
3. After 100 hours of operation, high-speed butter ZL-3 (lithium grease 3 #) needs to be added once with a butter gun, which the company supplies year-round. Do not add any other grease to avoid damaging the bearings.
4. If any abnormal vibration or sound is found during operation, the machine should be stopped immediately for inspection. If the bearings are damaged, they should be replaced with genuine bearings of the same model in a timely manner.
5. Regularly inspect the hammer blades, pin shafts, dowels, fan blades, and fan blade screws, and replace them promptly if they are severely worn.
