overviewThe GX7100B series is a 14 slot combination PXI chassis that can accommodate 6U and 3U PXI controllers and instrument equipment in a 4U rack space. The GX7100B has a unique format, including 7 3U slots and 7 3U/6U slots. They are placed horizontally, reducing the space of the chassis and meeting various application scenarios that require multifunctionality and high density. characteristicThe GX7100B series offers comprehensive features and options, including an innovative forced air cooling system consisting of 8 20 CFM fans controlled by built-in temperature sensors. This cooling configuration provides optimal cooling for the chassis, regardless of the type or quantity of instruments used. In addition, the chassis has a separate cooling system for the power supply. The GX7100B smart chassis supports monitoring of internal chassis temperature and system power supply voltage, and can also program or map each PXI trigger line from one PCI segment to another. In addition, users can program the temperature monitoring function to implement specific warnings and shutdown restrictions. All user specific settings can be stored as user configurations in non-volatile memory and can be used as default settings for normal chassis operations. GX7102B and GX7112B are suitable for applications that require large-scale interconnection and cable routing behind the chassis, providing ideal system solutions. These chassis include integrated 2U cable trays, hinged front panels that can accommodate all popular interconnect devices, optional openings at the top and bottom of the rack for cable routing, and embedded PXI instruments (2.5 "or 5" grooves). The combination of the front panel and groove instrument provides up to 8 "of space for interface wiring. The GX7100B series provides a 560 W system power supply that meets PXI hardware specification 2.1. |
configurationSlot 1 (6U) is dedicated to system controllers (embedded or remote, using PXI bus extenders). Slot 2 supports inserting star triggered controllers and any PXI or cPCI instrument. Slot 3-14 supports PXI star triggering. The PXI local bus interconnects cards within PXI segment A or segment B. The PXI trigger line is buffered/enabled at the boundary of PXI segment A/segment B. softwareThe chassis is equipped with GxChassis software, which includes software libraries, drivers, programming examples, virtual panel applications, and documentation. The virtual panel can control, configure, and display chassis configurations, including temperature control, trigger mapping, and power voltage monitoring. The 32/64 bit Windows DLL driver provides various interface files for programming tools (ATEasy, LabView, C/C++, Microsoft Visual Basic) ®, Delphi, etc.) to access DLL functions. The documentation provided by the User Guide includes installation, usage, and chassis programming instructions. The chassis also supports Linux systems and comes with a separate software package (GtLinux). application
