36th order wide dynamic range test card - Imatest dynamic range test card Product description:
Imatest 36th order wide dynamic range test card - Imatest dynamic range test cardThere are 36 low-noise color blocks with density ranges of 50dB, 100dB, and 150dB. These three options meet the requirements of low, wide, and ultra-high dynamic range systems. This test card has a wider dynamic range than the standard 36th order dynamic range test card. A nearly circular color block layout ensures minimal impact of glare on the results. For wide and ultra-high dynamic range test cards, there is space left on the left and right sides of the card for detecting flashes that can interfere with HDR performance. This test card only requires one image to test the tone response, noise, and dynamic range of various imaging systems, without the need for multiple exposure images.
- Low dynamic range (50dB): Suitable for low dynamic range cameras with small pixels. This goal will be an ideal choice for camera phones and tablets. (aspect ratio: 4:5 and 16:9)
- Wide dynamic range (100dB): Suitable for most high-quality cameras, digital SLR cameras, large mirrorless cameras, and any high-quality camera that is not particularly "HDR".
- Ultra high dynamic range (150dB): designed specifically for HDR cameras.
The dynamic range test card includes a 4:1 contrast slant for testing MTF. The MTF50 of the oblique edge is greater than 16 cycles/mm, which is three times better than inkjet graphics cards. The density of the gray background in the middle allows automatic exposure cameras to automatically expose. The effective area of this graphics card is 197 × 235 mm, and the medium size is 203 × 254 mm, which is very suitable for DNP standard color displays and ITI LED light boxes.
Imatest recommends using dynamic range targets equipped with high-intensity light sources (10000-10000000 lux) to provide sufficient light for testing the sensitivity range of image sensors. The test card is suitable for measuring the dynamic range of the camera's sensor. The dynamic range of a camera can be affected by the flash (stray light) on the lens. The sensor testing is based on the block pixels and noise levels in the raw image that has not been processed.
