QCP-1553 series: 1553 aviation electronic interface 3U cPCI board
describeThe QCP-1553 module is a robust, reliable, and fully functional Compact PCI module designed to provide independent MIL-STD-1553A/B interfaces for aviation electronics applications. The 3U QCP-1553 module supports up to four independent dual redundant MIL-STD-1553 data bus streams. In addition, the module also provides full functionality testing, simulation, monitoring, and data analyzer functions for MILSTD-1553A/B applications. The onboard IRIG-B time code decoder and generator allow users to accurately synchronize single or multiple QCP-1553 modules to a common time source. The QCP-1553 module can be configured with single or full functionality (RT simulation, monitoring, and bus controller). |

characteristic
The standard features of QCP-1553 include selectable transformers or direct couplings, 1 MB of RAM per channel, 45 bit message timestamps, triggers, a wide range of BC&RT link list structures, error injection/detection, avionics grade discrete, automatic/manual RT status bits and mode code responses, and advanced BC functionality. An IRIG-B signal receiver/generator supports DC/TTL signals from the generator, and the receiver supports AM or DC/TTL signals. The QCP-1553 bus monitor features the industry's fastest encoder/decoder, providing unparalleled error detection capabilities and 100% full load bus monitoring. |
The QCP-1553 multifunctional interface can be easily configured to simultaneously serve as a bus controller, 31 remote terminals, and bus monitor. The single function QCP-1553 interface has all the functions and functionalities of the multifunctional version, but can only enable one main operating mode at a time. Each interface can simulate a bus controller or 31 remote terminals or bus monitors. |
