This screening machine can be divided into two types based on material: stainless steel linear vibrating screen and carbon steel linear vibrating screen. Working principle of linear vibrating screen:

The linear vibrating screen is driven by dual vibration motors. When the two vibration motors rotate synchronously and in reverse, the excitation force generated by their eccentric blocks cancels each other out in the direction parallel to the motor axis, and forms a combined force in the direction perpendicular to the motor axis. Therefore, the motion trajectory of the screen machine is a straight line. The two motor shafts have an inclination angle relative to the screen surface. Under the reasonable action of excitation force and material self gravity, the material entering the equipment is thrown up and jumps forward in a linear parabolic motion on the screen surface. Through multiple layers of screens, several specifications of sieved and undersized materials are produced, which are discharged from their respective discharge ports to achieve the purpose of screening and grading.

Installation, commissioning, and usage knowledge of linear vibrating screen:

The bottom plate of the linear vibrating screen bracket should be fixed on a dedicated foundation and secured with embedded bolts. If a dedicated foundation is not built, anti vibration rubber plates should be laid between the workbench and the equipment base, and a safe and reliable grounding protection wire must be provided for the equipment before use.

Precautions for installing the linear vibrating screen:

1. Check the insulation resistance of the windings of the two vibration motors to ground. If it is less than 20M Ω, it must be dried before use.

2. The springs on the upper and lower spring rings of the screen body and machine base should be completely vertically embedded in the spring rings to ensure the balance of the screen body. The vibrating part of the screen machine should not have any hard connection or contact with other objects outside the machine.

3. Close the power switch, confirm that the vibration motor rotates synchronously in reverse, and perform 10-20 minutes of idle running. If there is any abnormal sound during the operation of the equipment, it should be quickly shut down for inspection and handling. After the equipment is running normally, a small amount of material that needs to be screened can be fed into the screening machine through the feeding port. Confirm that the material is moving towards the discharge port direction, and then gradually increase to the required and tolerable feeding amount.

4. When the material is about to be fed into the feeding port, the original material should be evenly fed into the feeding port to ensure that the material on the screen surface is evenly distributed. When the material falls, there should be no excessive impact force to avoid damaging the upper screen mesh. In special cases (such as large differences in material particle size, high material density, etc.), a thicker buffer screen should be added to the feeding port as an auxiliary.

5. Users can increase or decrease the vibration force of the screening machine according to the number of layers and the specific gravity of the material (by adjusting the angle between the eccentric weights at both ends of the vibration motor to increase or decrease the vibration force), so that the screening machine can achieve the predetermined screening effect.

6. The linear vibrating screen generates an instantaneous resonance zone during shutdown, during which the amplitude and noise will significantly increase, which is a normal phenomenon. Before starting and stopping the equipment, there should be no residual material on the screen surface. The screen mesh needs to be checked regularly for tension and damage, and if there is any damage, it should be replaced immediately.


Maintenance knowledge for daily use of linear vibrating screen:

1. Pre startup inspection:

①. Check whether the screen mesh is damaged and whether the frame bolts are loose from the feeding port and observation port respectively.

②. Use both hands and eyes to check if the bolts connecting the two vibration motors to the motor board are loose.

③. Check whether the power cords of the two vibration motors are damaged or exposed.


2. Inspection during use of screening machine:

①. Check whether the vibration motor is working alone or if the polarization of another motor is damaged.

②. Check if the vibration frequency is too low or the amplitude is insufficient due to low voltage.

③. Check whether there are any improper noises or sounds in various parts of the whole machine.


3. Maintenance of the screening machine after shutdown:

①. When the screening program is finished and ready to stop, the power should be turned off after the material of the screening machine is discharged from the discharge port.

②. After the linear vibrating screen is stopped, a stop sign should be hung at the power supply.

③. After the screening machine stops steadily, promptly use a plastic filament brush to sweep away the dust on the vibration motor.
